Instructions
- Combine sodium citrate and milk in large sauce pan. Whisk until sodium citrate is fully dissolved.
- Turn stove on to medium heat until milk is gently simmering.
- Add small amounts of cheese (roughly golf ball sized) to milk using an immersion blender between each to make sure sauce is smooth.
- Set sauce aside.
- Prepare macaroni according to package instructions, drain but don't rinse.
- Pour macaroni into sauce and stir, add any additional ingredients and serve.
